Though the dynamic nature of the market makes my role stressful, I try to find calm in this chaos by practicing mindfulness techniques.
Additionally, networking, light exercises, and prioritizing adequate rest and recovery help me boost my productivity and stay sharp.
We have seen a few episodes of your karaoke singing – tell us how it all started.
Music has always been a significant part of my life for the sheer joy and comfort it brings. I have been passionate about singing since I was a kid and completed my training as a classical singer by clearing various exams successfully.
During my school and college years, I actively participated in events and competitions and won multiple trophies for my performances.
When the pandemic disrupted our lives, I turned to karaoke singing to find my peace. I shared my performances on social media, which made it all the more fun and engaging.
Not only was karaoke a great way to spend time with family and friends but sharing my skills online also helped me connect with fellow music lovers and make new friends.
Along with singing you are also making sure that your physical body stays in shape by doing 10,000 steps daily. Tell more about the routine and it helped you.
My day begins with a brisk morning walk, depending on the weather. I’ve discovered that this ritual provides me with a burst of that morning energy and sets a positive tone for the day.
I strive to complete at least 10,000 steps daily as it is a great stress reliever and incredibly rewarding for my physical well-being and mental agility. Further, a nutritious diet and early dinners contribute to my overall fitness.
Digital detox is something that everyone should do. How was your experience and how did it help you to keep your mind uncluttered?
Digital detox has been highly therapeutic, significantly enhancing clarity in my thought process. Whenever possible, I try to unplug from digital distractions and utilize the time to reconnect with nature, spend time with my family, or travel.
These activities offer a much-needed break from screens, rejuvenating my mind and spirit. Intentionally stepping away from constant emails and mobile notifications is a powerful tool to reconnect with self, fostering a renewed sense of purpose.
Fasting is a great way to gain command of your senses and body. It also helps you to stay alert. Take us through the experience.
I decided to fast once every week, and it was one of the best decisions I’ve made towards a healthy lifestyle. Abstaining from food for extended periods helped me become more disciplined and aware of my body signals.
Through regular fasting, I noticed an improvement in my concentration. Mindful eating is another technique that helped me deepen my understanding of what I eat.
I am more conscious about my food cravings, eating when genuinely hungry and stopping when satisfied. The journey of incorporating fasting into my routine has been truly transformative.
Traders look for the next breaking idea or stock call from you – how do you handle that pressure?
I recognize the responsibility that comes with providing financial advice or insights to traders and approach it with a blend of preparation, discipline, and humility.
I make it a point to conduct thorough research and analysis before providing recommendations and avoid impulsive decisions. Emphasizing the importance of diversification and a long-term approach to investors while ensuring they understand the risks involved is crucial to me.
By setting realistic expectations, maintaining transparency, and leveraging my knowledge of markets, I try to mitigate the stress involved and ensure fairness to my audience.
Ultimately, I see the pressure as an opportunity to show commitment and empower traders to make confident and informed decisions.
Any advice for the young trader – should they also invest in mental fitness? How should they stay alert and mentally fit?
Investing in mental health is as crucial as investing in education. Prioritizing overall well-being is paramount for young traders to manage anxiety, improve performance, and build a sustainable career in financial markets.
A disciplined routine like regular exercise, a few minutes of meditation, and a balanced diet can boost energy levels. Healthy coping mechanisms like spending quality time with loved ones or engaging in hobbies can help to prevent burnout.
Additionally, expanding knowledge through reading, attending seminars, or taking online courses related to stock markets, psychology, or personal development is essential for keeping the mind sharp.
I advise young traders to set clear goals and focus on constant growth. By analyzing behavioural and emotional patterns and learning from experiences, they can develop the necessary skills to navigate the complexities of the financial market for their long-term success.
